\n<\/span><\/strong>This article studies Dale T. Mortensen (born 1939) who was\u00a0awarded the Nobel Prize for Economics in 2010 jointly with Peter A. Diamond and Christopher A. Pissarides for his work on the analysis of markets with search frictions. An empirically motivated theoretical economist, Mortensen has made a tremendous contribution to the field of labour economics.
