We are pleased to announce that the National Library of Luxembourg (BnL) now offers access to Brepolis Latin Complete, a major digital resource for the study of Latin language, literature, and medieval history to their users.
Brepolis Latin Complete is a cluster of authoritative databases bringing together an extensive corpus of Latin texts and scholarly tools. It includes:
- Library of Latin Texts (LLT) – one of the most extensive collections of Latin literature from antiquity through the 20th century.
- Monumenta Germaniae Historica (MGH) – a cornerstone resource for medieval studies, offering critical editions of key historical texts.
- Aristoteles Latinus Database (ALD) – medieval Latin translations of Aristotle’s works in critical editions.
- Archive of Celtic-Latin Literature (ACLL) – early medieval Latin texts from Celtic regions (400–1200).
- Database of Latin Dictionaries (DLD) – a suite of specialized Latin dictionaries, including the Dictionary of Medieval Latin from British Sources.
- Cross Database Searchtool (CDS) – allowing searches across all included resources through a unified interface.
Brepols has recently introduced new interfaces and data structures for ACLL, ALD, and eMGH. You can read more about these updates here:
